MONTROSE

-BIO-

MONTROSE was formed in the 70's by RONNIE MONTROSE and SAMMY HAGAR and throughout the 70's and 80's, toured on the fame of their classic hits ROCK CANDY, BAD MOTOR SCOOTER, ROCK THE NATION and several others. RONNIE'S guitar genious in MONTROSE along with the scores of legendary rock records he helped create has earned him the title of "Rock N Roll Guitar Legend".

MONTROSE, as a band has pioneered and influenced an entire generation of rock and roll from the West Coast of the USA by firing out big guitar riffs and soulful dynamic vocals with extreme "Attitude". All over the world, MONTROSE is well known as Hard Rock's predecessor to VAN HALEN and the SUNSET STRIP explosion of the mid-80's.

Picking up where HAGAR left off is younger Singer/Frontman, KEITH ST. JOHN. Keith has been sited by MONTROSE devout followers as the only guy who could ever fill those shoes! Keith's dynamic vocal energy and stage presence challenges the likes of HAGAR, ROGER DALTRY, PAUL RODGERS, & ROBERT PLANT, all in their younger days!

Since KEITH and RONNIE reformed MONTROSE in 2000, they have been joined by drummers and bass players from many other legendary bands including KISS, ALICE COOPER, MEGADETH, Y&T, MR. BIG, GUIFFRIA, BADLANDS, STYX, PAT BENATAR and many more!

GENE SIMMONS (KISS) was quoted as saying, "Every night, before every KISS show, we listen to the entire first MONTROSE album for inspiration before we go out on stage."

The MONTROSE "LIVE SHOW" is the best it's ever been.

Rounded off with veteran Arena Players "WILD" MICK BROWN (DOKKEN/TED NUGENT) and SEAN McNABB (GREAT WHITE/QUIET RIOT), this band takes NO PRISONERS and leaves fans SCREAMING FOR MORE!
